AQL

Acceptance Quality Level (AQL)

Acceptable Quality Level or AQL is a statistical tool used to inspect a sample size for a certain product in a batch and set the maximum number of acceptable defects. Depending on the batch size, we check a certain number of products. The level of the AQL then determines how many products may not be optimal in order to approve the batch. The AQL depends on the batch size and the accuracy required by the customer.

We work with an AQL (Acceptance Quality Level) of 1.5 as standard, this is also offered as such in our quotations. Depending on the customer, the AQL level can be reduced, which means that fewer rejections may be required.

Whether a product is delivered to you from our own production or is outsourced, the final inspection always takes place at Artech in our quality laboratory.

Dimensional tolerances

Artech works with standard tolerances according to ISO 3302, M2 on our products, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.

We also align quality control with the requirements of the customer and the application. This includes distinctions in specific dimensional tolerances and segment requirements.

Zero-defect delivery is possible

If you want absolute guarantee that all your products are free from defects, we can also provide zero-defect or 100% inspection, including by using automatic inspection machines.
