Sustainability at Artech: innovation with responsibility
At Artech Rubber BV, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our business operations. We are committed to sustainability, safety and social involvement, with respect for employees, customers, relations and the environment.
We have taken significant steps to make our processes more sustainable, including:
- Use of electric heating and cooling without natural gas.
- Heat recovery to efficiently heat factories.
- More than 330 solar panels, which capture up to 50% of our energy consumption on sunny days.
- Reuse of production waste and processing of 150 tons of recycled rubber per year.
Our innovative rubber compounds are environmentally friendly and circular. We use recycled and natural materials, which reduce the ecological footprint and contribute to a circular economy. By using recycled rubber and reusing our production waste, we need less new rubber compound and contribute to the reduction of the use of fossil fuels.
