Innovative production methods for high-quality rubber solutions

At Artech Rubber, we combine advanced technology with years of experience to produce top-quality rubber moulded products. Our extensive facilities offer a variety of production methods, such as compression, transfer and injection moulding, to meet our customers’ unique needs and efficiently execute production. With a modern machine park, an in-house mold shop, academic and practical expertise in compound development, rubber preparation and mixing, we guarantee flexibility, precision and customization for every project. Discover how our production processes provide the foundation for innovative and reliable solutions.

Choice of production methods

In order to make the best possible products at the lowest costs with flexibility in delivery time, Artech has three different production methods. We work with conventional or compression moulding, or transfer and injection presses. Each production method has specific advantages. This freedom of choice gives us the opportunity to choose the best solution for you. Of course, it is also possible to change the production method as the series size increases or decreases.

This is the most conventional way of producing and has the advantage that the investment costs are low and production can be started up quickly. With compression moulding, very difficult to process materials (high-quality and expensive) can be processed excellently. At Artech, all materials can be processed in this way.

Transfer moulding offers advantages in specific tolerances and the ability to obtain rubber where it is needed.

Automatically injecting rubber into the mould using an automated process means that the initial investment costs are somewhat higher. However, for larger series this results in a significant reduction in the production lead time, which means that the cost price per product is lower and the higher investment costs can be earned back relatively quickly.

Artech also has a choice of machines that can run semi-automatically and machines that can work completely unmanned. Depending on the series size and the product, we make the optimal choice for you.

Presses

Our experienced and qualified employees make technical rubber moulded products from small to very large. With our 35 presses and various production techniques we can make any desired moulded part in all materials. Our smaller and accurate presses are suitable for making narrowly tolerated parts. The large presses with a maximum surface of 1200 by 1200 mm make excellent products of larger dimensions. Because we can use various production techniques, Artech is able to plan small series quickly and flexibly, but also to make larger series more efficiently and therefore attractively priced for you.

Rubber preparation and mixing

With our two-roll mils (small and large) we can prepare rubber, but also adjust it to specific wishes and/or requirements of the customer or application. Our Rubber Technologist has the necessary academic and practical experience to adjust or develop compounds. In addition, Artech works with a number of leading compounders to ensure that we can select or develop the best compounds for your applications. Here too, we are fast and flexible because we can do a lot in-house.

Our own mould workshop completes our 3-unit: moulds, rubber preparation/mixing and production under one roof. In our own mould workshop we can lathe, mill, spark erode, drill and tap. Everything that is needed to make good moulds. Of course our machines are CNC-controlled, which guarantees the right precision. With the knowledge of processing rubber, various production techniques and our own mould design, Artech has a clear advantage. An advantage through possibilities, speed and manufacturability. For customers, this advantage means that we can quickly switch production methods and therefore offer the best price-quality ratio.

Artech combines the necessary knowledge for you and operates via short lines.
